We may hear official word that George Zimmerman will be charged in the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin as early as today. As the days of no arrest piled on many were increasingly starting to wonder if Zimmerman might be squeezing his way out of Trayvon’s killing. However, it looks as though Zimmerman will finally be arrested and be tried in court over Trayvon’s killing.
The Washington Post reports:
Florida special prosecutor Angela Corey plans to announce as early as Wednesday afternoon that she is charging neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman in the shooting of Trayvon Martin, according to a law enforcement official close to the investigation.
It was not immediately clear what charge Zimmerman will face.
Now the question is: Where exactly is George Zimmerman? In a bizarre press conference held yesterday, one of Zimmerman’s ex-lawyers said to those curious about his whereabouts, “You can stop looking in Florida. Look much further away than that.”
